If yesterday we talked about the City Hall, today we are going to stay on the same avenue, and talk about something that is really near: The Consell Insular de Mallorca. Haven’t I told you that this city is full of masterpieces?

The Consell Insular is Majorca’s governing body. The building has its origins back in the 19th century, in the old Provincial Deputation. A remarkable neo-Gothic façade, and an impressive staircase and assembly hall in the interior, help the building to come to the fore immediately. Moreover, sculptural elements were successfully integrated by a local Catalan artist.

Apart of the wonderful architectural details, from here you have a wonderful sight: the neo-Gothic tower of Santa Eulàlia, and the Town Hall. Situated on Calle Palau Reial, we strongly recommend you to come by and have a look!
