We continue today our cultural trip around Majorca with an important cultural part of Spain’s history: the Arab culture. It is well known by all of you that the Arabic period has left its footprint over Spain, which has lasted to our days, transforming itself into an utterly important cultural heritage.

A national identity symbol, the Arab Baths of Palma are one of a small number of archeological remains from the age of Muslim domination of the Balearic Islands. Located on Calle Can Serra, number 7, you will find this awe-inspiring vestige, being composed of a central hall, surrounded by columns. These elements gave residence to the steam baths and belong to a private residence.

Moreover, a caldarium and a tepidarium have survived the passing of time! If you visit Palma, take a bit of your time and visit this amazing trace of history!
