More precisely Cala Llombards is a stunning cove beach in the southeast of Mallorca near to the small village Es Llombards and about 10 kilometres from Santanyi. This place it lies hidden in a lovely spot flanked by two rocky outcrops covered in pine woods and can be easily accessed by car or bicycle off a main road that connects with the village of Es Llombards.

From Santanyi is only a 10-15 minute drive and from nearby Ses Salines about 15-20 minutes. Although narrow, this fine sandy beach extends quite a way inland and the crystal clear waters are just perfect for snorkelling. The sandy beach, which is just 60 metres long with a depth of up to 116 meters offers a large area ensuring that even in the height of summer there is still plenty of room for everyone who wants to spread out a towel here.

If you want to have a more comfortable beach day you can rent lounge chairs and umbrellas and also, there are a couple of outdoor showers and basic toilets and you will find a lifeguard on duty. This corner of heaven is for relaxing not a party beach or one with outside activities. The waters here are clear, turquoise and shallow making it a good choice of beach for families with small children or those less adventurous swimmers. Therefore, if you’re looking for a place where relaxing is the main activity, then Cala Llombards is the perfect spot.
