As one of the most popular holiday towns on the island, this Mallorcan region wins over the hearts of holidaymakers every year with its picturesque harbour, long sandy beaches and pretty old town. So today I’m going directly to the subject sharing with you all one of the best place where you can watch the most beautiful thing that the sky offers us in Mallorca. Playa S’llot is a beautiful wild beach in the north of the island. It has a typical crescent shape and is comprised of thick sand and boulders located in the vicinity of La Victoria in the Cabo Pinar, a few kilometers from Alcudia.
The sea is invariable calm and inviting making this place a safe and shallow bay so ideal for families with children. There are no sunbeds, parasols or lifeguards at S’illot beach and that’s what makes it great, having a very un-touristy feel. The main attraction of Playa S’Illot is that it remains virtually untouched with no buildings or facilities along the coast where can be seen a beautiful islet that gives its name to the beach and protects it from the winds of the Tramontana.
If you ask me, S’Illot is a fantastic unspoilt area with a unique corner that hides thousands of secrets and definitely is a must see place. Here you can have fun doing cliff jumping and snorkeling among clear waters where you could discover fishes of different sizes and colors or you could relax enjoying an idyllic landscape surrounded by cliffs of strange rock formations. Alcudia is the perfect holiday town for families thanks to its wonderful beaches which run gradually into the sea. Enjoy the sun, sea and sand in a unique place! PS: The sun comes up between 6:45 and 7:00 in the morning. Waking up super early is hard (I know ) and not my thing for sure but definitely is worth it. Prepare some lovely food and have breakfast with this view. You’ll gonna love it!
