Get close to the gorgeous scenery of Mallorca and create yourself a wonderful luxury escape and an unforgettable vacation on one of the most special place of the island – a beautiful and long sandy beach in the north east, close to Capdepera and Cala Ratjada. Curious already? Then let me tell you more! Cala Agulla is a beautiful, small-scale resort beach located a stone’s throw from the charming, medieval town of Capdepera which is less than 2 kilometres away, in the northeast coast of Mallorca.

This area is surrounded by the wild beauty of sand dunes, pine trees, desert plants and low lying rocky areas that form the Llevant Peninsula Natural Park. Besides the fact that it is one of the most famous and emblematic beach on the island, this location offers something for everyone; A lot of space where you can put your towel, umbrellas and lounge chairs surrounded by stunning landscapes and also, there are plenty of water sports and facilities to reassure or satisfy those who like civilisation nearby.

More exactly, the beach is 520m long and 60m wide and is characterised by very fine white sand and the famous blue-flag. Its impressively clear crystal water tempts every visitor to this exclusive area, believe me. Also, if you’re bored to sit at the beach and you want more, then you must know that the beach lies within a nature park and environmental protection area, surrounded by pine trees and woods, where all kinds of activities such as hiking, mountain biking or horse riding are on offer.

When it comes to the beach facilities, well… they include a bar and restaurant services, a public car park, lifeguard post, sun-beds, parasols and as I mentioned above, a wide range of water sports. Of course, dive trips can be arranged from here, as can boat trips for full or half-day excursions. Its unique location makes it a good base to set off in search for dolphins or to just admire the coastline scenery. It can be an incredibly peaceful experience. Go and see with your own eyes this unique location! You will love it!
