All across Mallorca, in the Christmas time you’ll find traditional sweets, fireworks and streets hung with twinkling lights but also, a lot of good locations where you can enjoy a splendid night. 😀 With a fantastic choice of restaurants, including 9 Michelin-starred locations, Mallorca is the paradise where you can dine in the special night of Christmas at some cosy restaurants with the best atmosphere and fantastic food. 🙂 In fact, my favorite for this year is Zaranda, the island’s only two Michelin star restaurant! 😀

Believe me, the restaurant Zaranda offers truly exclusive gastronomic pleasures at highest level. 😉 Using market fresh, local ingredients as well as spices and flavours often sourced from the Castell’s own herb garden, Fernando P. Arellano and his team prepare extraordinary culinary compositions perfect for a unique night. 🙂 Also, they have an extensive wine list with over 170 different labels from both local and international sources. 😉 Chef Fernando Perez Arellano opened his restaurant in Madrid in 2005, where he gained his first Michelin star.

He wanted his ingredients to be fresh, sourced from the land and sea, so he moved his restaurant and his entire team to Mallorca, where he gained a second Michelin star in 2016. 😀 The decor is elegant and sophisticated, with a lot of natural light filtering through. 🙂 Beside that, the location, which is decorated with pieces of local art and craftwork, literally has a view into the kitchen, so guests can catch a glimpse of the chefs at work. :))) Basically, its tasting menu is a mixture of delicious and interesting elements, including a black-poached egg served with a white-onion puree and nutty Venere rice, a “sandwich” made from Creole-style-cooked eel between slices of skin, and Iberico steak (if you want something a bit more simple). Sounds good, huh? Then imagine what holiday you will have! 😀
