Come and discover the tranquil beach on the northwest coast of Mallorca with stunning views of the surrounding Serra de Tramuntana mountain range including its highest peak, Puig Major where you’ll enjoy plenty of free time and its beauty. Cala Tuent is situated at 40 kilometres from Sóller between Punta de sa Corda and Morro des Forat and below the shade of Puig Major (1445 metres high), the highest mountain of the Balearic Islands.

This place has a absolutely unique position with a beautiful sea view and is full of sun all year round, peace and privacy. More exactly, Cala Tuent turns out to be a unique beach thanks to the exceptional beauty of the great forest of pines that precedes it, but primarily because of the fact that it lies in an area where urban development is still lacking.

The beach is about 170 meters long and the sand is a mixture of gravel with fine grains and the water is as you can see, perfect for a swim because is crystal clear. 🙂 This place can certainly be a top attraction for those who love water sports like snorkeling or surfing, these being the only water sports you’ll see on Cala Tuent. Also, if you love the adventure and adrenaline, there is a hiking trail which starts in the town of Sóller and takes about 5-hours to arrive in Cala Tuent. The road is not difficult, passing through olive trees, pine trees and along the coast. With all the choice of hiking trails that are possible within the Serra de Tramuntana’s, it’s no wonder that this beach is a favorite for outdoor enthusiasts who often choose to walk to the beach.

Generally, people come here for an escape spending the day reading, relaxing, eating a picnic lunch and discovering the natural landscape surrounding the beach. There is a lot of space and because of the lack of restaurants, shops or beachclubs, you’ll have a very peaceful experience on this remote beach. In addition, in this area you’ll have to know that there is no parking and is not easy to park close to the beach because the area that surrounds it, is very narrow. So, after a beach day, you can finish it enjoing a tasty meal in one restaurant at about 1,5 km back called Es Vergeret where you have a magnificent view on the emerald-green water and the tranquil beach while you can enjoy some paella. I wish you a perfect day! 😀
