Therefore, with a little help from me, you can find your very own slice of paradise. If your dream holiday is made of sparkling white and sandy beaches lapped by turquoise waters, then Sa Rapita it will not disappoint you. This is the most spectacular beach on the island; unblemished white sand, pretty inlets, translucent water, natural landscape and the best of all is that this place is relatively unknown for many people. Untouched by tourism but easy enough to find, this place prove that in Mallorca you can still experience the dream of finding that secluded beach. It’s a lovely golden sand beach with stunning views of the mountains and hills towering over an aqua-blue sea.
It was truly the greatest beach view I have ever witnessed! Here, the only sound I hear is the wind and the waves from the sea side, as they wander in the landscape. Playa Sa Ràpita is located in the south of Mallorca and extends over a length of about one kilometer, with a width of about 30 meters.
At the north-west end is bordered by the marina of the town of Sa Ràpita, which begins behind it. There are some restaurants and bars, particularly at either end of the beach. The fine-sanded, white beach of Playa Sa Ràpita is without any doubt, one of the most beautiful in Mallorca and combines wonderfully natural, unspoiled, beautiful scenery with a good range of places where people can serve food or do water sports.
Many of the people who come to sunbathe and swim here are from the yachts in the marina, particularly those to the front. This beautiful beach never gets so crowded that you can’t find space for your towel. The only thing that can be tricky is finding a parking space in the height of summer. Sa Rapita is a fairly quiet resort, but it is also a good location to explore the south and east of Mallorca.
There are low key water sports available such as kayaking, snorkeling and wind surfing . At the Sa Rapita end, you’ll find the highly regarded Sa Rapita Yacht Club. You will also find the water perfect for younger children or those less adventurous swimmers. This means in the warmer months it’s a heaven for many tourists and it worths to make a visit. Is like a pretty picture postcard of a beach, but only known by a few, so it remains a (almost) hidden gem.
