Before opening his own restaurant and while working in a country house hotel, Marc Fosh was the first British chef in Spain that had his cuisine awarded with a Michelin star. The creative modern Mediterranean cuisine reflects Marc’s passion for fresh, seasonal and local market ingredients, which are cleverly combined to make healthy and delicious-tasting dishes.
Herbs and other medicinal plants are important elements of his food. Everything that passes through his hands, it’s a culinary feast! With an amazing food, atmosphere, decor, service, aperitifs and wines, this place gives the chance to its clients to take part to a complete dining experience! There’s also plenty of choices on the wine list with labels from Spain (including Mallorca), France, and Italy. The urban cool decor includes lots of natural light, modern art and a indoor water feature.
There’s a stylish bar and a central courtyard for fine weather al fresco dining. In contemporary & stylish surroundings, Simply Fosh is housed in the Refectori of the 17th-century Hotel Convent de la Missió in the old town of Palma with a modern interior of black-and-white, sun terrace, cascading wall of water and food that everyone can enjoy. The restaurant has capacity for around 60 people and when I visited, the place was full – as it often is (advance reservations are essential).
It’s simply the best in the old town of Palma. My first (and not last) visit was again a full success, not just thanks to the perfect dishes but also thanks to the strong presence of Marc Fosh itself and his team of waiters which make this restaurant such a nice place to visit. There are so many great restaurants on Mallorca with amazing landscapes on the Mediterranean island ready to be discovered. All these been said, I hope you have found this article about the Best Restaurants on Mallorca useful and that you have many memorable meals as a result of my personal recommendations.
