It’s the holiday season and if you are like me, you might have a hard time choosing between the splendor of history, the amazing beaches, the call of the quaint quiet life watching the magnificent sunset, or the craving for adventure. If you have never been to Mallorca and someone has advised you to travel here on holiday, then it’s time to trust the well intended advices because on this island you’ll find everything you’ve ever dreamed of and all that I have specified above.

Mallorca really does have it all – glorious beaches and majestic mountains, a wealth of historical buildings and cultural experiences, a buzzing and cosmopolitan city, theme parks for all the family and all the shopping you could care to do whilst on holiday. Whether you want to visit one of the beautiful country houses, enter in one of the remarkable caves or chill out in a beach club Mallorca has it all. Each region has its own particular appeal – the northeast for history, the east coast for beaches and caves, the north and west for spectacular mountains and picture-postcard villages. The most popular attraction on the isle is undoubtedly its collection of beaches.

The island boasts some of the finest examples of coastline in the Mediterranean like the bustling beaches of Cala d’Or in the east and the more secluded Cala Deia beach in the west. Whether rocky or sandy, the beaches are a heaven for people who love diving or sailing and you must know that the yacht charters are available across the whole island.

Another popular things to do on the beach include diving and snorkelling, boat trips and simply relaxing under a parasol. You can also travel away from the beach to discover the flourishing green wetlands and mountain ranges that characterise the north and north-western parts of Mallorca. The stunning scenery thoughout the island is ideal for enjoying outdoor pursuits. You can find protected Natural Parks in all four corners of Mallorca as well as the rugged and beautiful Tramuntana mountains that run down the west coast.

Here, walking and hiking are popular activities with a wide variety of well maintained paths and clear signage suitable for all abilities. Cycling is massive in Mallorca, it’s a well-established destination for the professional road cycling teams during the off season and there are plenty of routes to choose from. For nature lovers this place will be a heaven! Whether your interested to go on a beach, relax and chill out or a day full of fun on the beautiful Tramuntana mountains, Mallorca will provide you plenty of ways to make your stay an exclusive and unforgettable adventure. All you need to do is to let yourself captivated by the wonders of Mallorca.
