My first holiday I spent on Mallorca island made me realize how heaven looks like for me. Most likely it has the beautiful beaches, the azure sea and the roman atmosphere that I felt in Balearic Islands. All of these sunny Mediterranean islands look like corners of heaven but Mallorca is on top of the list. Every time I’ve traveled here I discovered wonderful people, excellent food and places so beautiful where every human has the right to go at least once in his life and feel spoiled. In this location I found out about so many stunning places, including Paguera. A modern tourist resort in the south west of Mallorca in the district of Calvia and an ideal place for you to enjoy the best dream vacation. Paguera, with its stunning combination of coastal and mountain scenery and a delightful Mediterranean climate, provides every to person the perfect vacation.

There are about 35km (about 20 miles) from Palma Airport and the transfer time to Paguera is around 45 minutes. This modern resort on Mallorca’s southwest coast started life as a fishing village. It’s stayed nicely compact, but more than that, in our days you’ll find a lively night-time scene down on the prom, along with plenty of shops on El Bulevar. Paguera is noted for it’s cleanliness, the resort maintaining very well being a very pleasant place to wander around.

The beaches are all clean and sandy with gently sands sloping into clear warm waters and plenty of space for families to enjoy their own spot on the beach. Talking about seaside, here you’ll find a trio of beaches. All three Paguera’s beaches are Blue Flag winners, well-suited for sunbathing and watersports alike with fine, golden sand that shelves gently into warm, clear waters too. And they’re all linked by a tree-lined that’s packed with restaurants and cafés. These three are also good for surfing, sharing the same name and the same surf conditions. The middle beach is often the best but check all three and choose your spot where you fell most comfortable.

Lazing on the beach is a popular option in this corner of Mallorca but if you are feeling a little more sporty or adventurous there are many things to do including tennis. When it comes to food because of the popularity of the resort with German visitors, the restaurants serves an Euro-friendly mix of German cooking, Brit-style roasts and the local island tapas. If you want something more authentic, look out for “Fideua” – a paella made with noodles instead of rice and ramallet (a tomato native to the island). The major attractions in Peguera is the pretty cove of Cala Fornells that offers a quieter experience than the main beaches and is home to the front-line excellent hotel ‘Petit Cala Fornells’. From the resort you can easily visit Cala Fornells, which is a small and beautiful area. Many of the tourists that stays in Peguera, always visit the nearby Santa Ponsa and Andratx by car, local bus or taxi. If you have not been in these places, being very close to this area I recommend you to visit them. You will love it! While staying here, it’s also worth it to explore the neighbouring Camp de Mar, with its small and popular island café/restaurant reached by a wooden bridge. Here you’ll find a well established holiday resort in south west Mallorca, with three gorgeous beaches and plenty of nightlife and activities. A lot of lovely things are waiting for you to be explored in a fairytale place!
