There are 34 days left until Christmas Eve and people are becoming more and more enthusiastic. And they have such a good reason! 🙂 This time of the year means that is the period to relax, recharge and celebrate. So, whether you wish to “use” the holiday season to wind down in peaceful enjoyment or get caught up in the spirit of the festivities, there is a perfect scene for you with some spectacular things to see and do. 🙂 Therefore, let’s start with the entertainment and leisure available in Mallorca, that is one of the most varied and interesting in the whole of the Mediterranean region. Here, in the Christmas time it’s normal to discover different event programs such as music concerts, opera, ballet or theatre throughout the year. All you have to do is to find out the locations. 😀 A lot of national and international companies visit Mallorca to play concerts and recitals. The Principal Theatre and the Auditorium of Palma are two places to keep in mind, for the wide selection of cultural activities on offer at these venues.

Coinciding with the beginning of the winter season, November to April, the events program entitled “A Winter in Mallorca” takes place, being the fruit of a collaboration between the Balearic Institute of Tourism and the Promotion of Tourism of Mallorca and is the starting of a varied list of cultural activities that range between such things as classical music concerts, cycle races, folklore demonstrations, trips to places of historical interest and Baroque period dramatisations. On the other hand, its traditional fiestas provide a unique range of celebrations to help you really get to know the local culture. 🙂 Sounds great, isn’t it? Take a trip to Mallorca for a stroll around the twinkling, bedecked stalls, sipping hot mulled wine, or try such things as the ones mentioned above. You will love it! 🙂
