It is a time to relax and enjoy the company of family and friends and of course for the little ones to meet Father Christmas ( Santa Claus) and to be spoilt with gifts and love. If you want to travel on the island and spend your holidays in a unique spot, then you have to know that the main places for this kind of markets in Palma are Via Roma, Las Ramblas, Placa Espana and Placa Major.
The last one numbered, Placa Major is possibly the most different because of what is on sale: hundreds of different versions of the Baby Jesus, Mary and Joseph, the three Kings, shepherds and farm animals. These are extremely popular all over Mallorca and you will see many elaborate displays in shop fronts and restaurants.
They are lovely and for sure you will enjoy every second spend here. The landscape is fabulous! When it comes to food, gastronomy plays an important part here. With a fantastic choice of restaurants, including 9 Michelin-starred restaurants, you certainly won’t be lacking in choice for a family meal or a special meal with a loved one.
