Colorful , amazing and full of life , Deia is one of the prettiest villages on the island and there are so many reasons to fall in love of this place . My recent trip to Deia on the Spanish island of Mallorca was a revelation , discovering the extra delights of the surrounding mountains and coast .

Believe me , Mallorca it’s magnificent but in particular, on the north west coast of the island I’ve found  this gorgeous place and I’d go back there in a heartbeat . The village of Deia , a small place with a few cobbled streets and honey stone houses , sits nestling between the sea and the dramatic Tramuntana mountain range . As it says , strong essences are kept in small bottles , am I right ?

Most people come to Deia for relaxation . There is something magical about this village and from what I’ve heard , it has long been an inspiration for artists , writers and the rock gods all over the world .  With such a stunning view all around , this is a place that is perfect for people who loves nature in its original form . Perhaps I have not mentioned yet that I visited some restaurants from there ! As I’m a foodie fan , with such a range of fabulous restaurants , I have found two perfect places where you can eat in a dream view .

A must is the Michelin star Es Raco D’es Teix , with gorgeous food and equally stunning views and the other favourite restaurant is Sebastian’s . Two places that has been built and converted to create a stylish spot with excellent food . As always in Deia , there’s also a spectacular view where you can lose and find yourself over and over again. I can’t wait to tell you more about these stunning places in my next articles . Till then , have a great day !
