A charming place full of peacefulness

I discovered this location by chance, in some moments of my life when all I wanted was to relax in a blissfully calm and beautiful area where the only thing I wanted to hear was the peace. 🙂 Where you’ll find it? Far away from the center of the island, in the west of Pollenca towards Lluc. 🙂 Here lies this peaceful spot named Vall d’Marc – a very special location with spectacular views, ideal to enjoy a week or a weekend in this quiet and romantic hideaway. 🙂

So, if you’re ready to swap the shrieks and the crowds of the beach resorts for the tinkling of goat bells and the hum of bees in the tranquil interior of this place, continue reading because I have more to tell. 🙂 At only 8-10 minutes from Pollenca this rural stretch of olive and almond groves, meadows and flowers hemmed in by the Tramuntana mountains is dotted with farms, some of which you can stay in. 😉 As a good example is Villa La Vall (the place where I’ve stayed) – here you’ll find the calm and recovery you are looking for.

The beautiful landscape with wonderful views to the valley and mountains let you forget about the hectic and daily problems, believe me. 🙂 Beside that, being so close to this unique village, there you’ll find lots of cultural attractions, museums and places to visit. 😉 But when it comes to beaches and fun, not far away you have Cala San Vicente with three bays to choose from, then there is the Port of Pollensa with its long sandy beaches and all water sports available. 😀 Vall d’Marc is an ideal starting point for activities in the area, whether related to the sea or the mountains, that nobody should miss. But whats more important is that even in the height of summer madness here you’ll find plenty of peacefulness! 😀
