For an exciting weekend of wine tasting in a great setting surrounded by wine buffs and some of the island’s top wine makers, visit the Pollensa Wine Fair at the Cloisters of Santo Domingo. The event kicks off at 10.00 on Saturday 6th of May and runs through until 14.00 on Sunday 7th of May. The Pollensa Wine Fair takes place every year in spring at the Santo Domingo Cloister .
It’s the largest wine event where many local wineries presents their products to the general public. The goal is to promote the local wines , both to the public and professionals. Is a selection of excellent wines in an atmospheric setting. The wine fair is both popular and well visited because of Mallorca’s unique microclimate.
How the weather affects the varying terrain in different ways from costal areas to high mountain terraces and the flat land across the plains, a wide variety of grapes can be grown here producing a broad spectrum of fine wines, each with its unique character and flavour.
