Escape to a Mediterranean vibe from your everyday life in a place where everything is awesome, from its warm hospitality to the best places to eat and sleep in Mallorca. Famous for its unique location offering fabulous mountain views, the Son Boronat hotel it has a traditional, Mediterranean-style and culinary delights for everyone’s taste. What I really loved while my staying was that the Son Boronat is a pretty, country-style hotel set within an estate in the Calvià Valley, offering wonderfully restful stays and the opportunity to truly unwind and escape in the wonderful nature that is all around us.

Surrounded by lovely grounds, the hotel has stylish decor and the property maintains original features including tiled floors and beamed ceilings. Each of its bright rooms has a private bathroom and some of them feature a balcony with picturesque landscapes.

If you’re lucky to find the one that is set in the property’s original watch tower when you are booked, you will have an amazing stay and you’ll feel as in a fairy tale. Within only half an hour from Son Sant Joan – Palma International Airport, you will reach Son Boronat in the midst of the mountain range of “Na Burguesa”, tucked away in the rural countryside.

Son Boronat is just 5 minutes drive from the village of Calvià and the beaches of Palma Nova and Santa Ponsa are less than 8 km away. Therefore, if you want a relaxing day on the seaside, then take a walk out next to the mountains, olive trees and almond groves and hear the sweet birdsong.

The area surrounding the hotel is ideal for horse riding, hiking, cycling and the nearest golf club is 15 minutes drive away. If you are in the mood for shopping, then the capital Palma de Mallorca is only 12 km away with its beauty and style making it very accessible and also a superb base for exploring the city with its history and cultural attractions and of course, the ports of the southwest.

Blissful days at Hotel Son Boronat begin with a plentiful home-made breakfast completed with fresh fruits and freshly-pressed juices. By evening, the hotel restaurant invites food-loving guests to discover the best of local cuisine, offered alongside an enticing array of international dishes based on market fresh, seasonal ingredients.

The diners are eaten in the romantic, private atmosphere of either the outdoor terrace, or the cosy interior dining room. The property has been carefully restored to bring out the character of the old building with the interior design benefiting from a modern European make over. For a unforgettable vacation, try this location and live “la vida loca” in a corner of heaven.
